Pop Bar - Hot Chocolate on a Stick

Every now and then a great product comes along and my pick for the new year is hot chocolate on a stick by popbar. This would be a great addition to any wedding or event. Just add steamed milk and your guests can make their own cup of hot chocolate. I just ordered my popbar hot chocolate and can't wait for them to arrive. Flavors include Vanilla White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate.

Real Wedding - Rachelle & Rob

This was my last wedding for the year - Rachelle and Rob's wedding was party central. High energy was the word of the day. I've never seen such a calm bride and groom. But, I guess when you fly planes for a living being grounded for a few hours is a piece of cake. Congrats, Rachelle & Rob!

Real Wedding - Cherie and Marco

I wanted to share these beautiful images of my couple Cherie and Marco's wedding taken at Chateau Elan by photographer NadiaD - ohhh so pretty. The winery vineyard makes the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. Congrats, Cherie and Marco!

Wedding - CaCee Cobb and Donald Faison

After a sixteen-month engagement CaCee Cobb and actor Donald Faison finally tied the knot. I really like CaCee dress and her BFF Jessica Simpson's dress was very flattering. Her dress is dreamy; love all of the ruffles and texture of the dress. Looks like a fun wedding - congrats to the couple.

Four Weddings TLC

I don't watch a lot of wedding shows, but I have to say Four Weddings on TLC is one of my favorites. There are no Bridezilla just friendly competition. Most of all we can see what happens when you don't have a wedding planner (I digress). There are lots of hiccups along the way but also some very creative brides who dazzle their guests. The budgets range from  modest to very generous, which adds and extra dimension to the show.

What to Wear - NYE 2013 Dolce & Gabbana

All I want for Christmas is a Dolce and Gabbana dress - any dress, any color. Yes, anyone of these dresses would make the perfect outfit to wear out on the town on New Year eve via Swide. If I had to pick one dress, it would be the third black, sexy dress - it makes my heart sing.

Furoshiki - The Art of Gift Wrapping

Gift wrapping has been taken to another dimension using the art of Furoshiki gift-wrapping, a time honored, ancient tradition. The art of wrapping gifts is slowing returning.  So make sure you take time to create an unique wrapping instead of taking the easy route with a paper bag and tissue paper - the gift recipient will thank you. Furoshiki is one of my favorites because the material or scarf can be re-used or re-purposed.

Engagement Season - Put A Ring on It!

Yes, Engagement Season is my favorite time of the year.  If you need to brush up on your diamond skills make sure you head over to Tiffany's for help in choosing the perfect blue box. Everything you need to know about the 4Cs - Cut, Clarity, Color and Carat, which is the value of the white diamond, is determined by what are commonly referred to as the 4Cs. Tis the season to put a ring on it!

Occasions Magazine Holiday Party

Heather Vreeland, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Occasions magazine hosted a holiday party at the Atlanta Event Center at Opera with cocktails, photo booths and dancing. The venue was dressed out by some of Atlanta finest Wedding and Party Professionals. We enjoyed a dinner menu of salad, rosemary, coriander tenderloin, roasted root vegetable, braised brussels sprout with balsamic cider glace and decadent dessert - ginger snap banana budding with bourbon cream - yummy! This was a great way to kick off the holiday season.

Make sure you pick up your copy of Occasions magazine and check out Occasions blog for tons of inspirations.

Tips for Dealing with Guest Seating Chart

Seating wedding guests has to be the hardest part of my job as a wedding coordinator. Just as the stars must align in the sky, the RSVPs, table chart and guest count must also be in sync. Check out all of my tips on BBJ Linen's wedding planning blog.

DIY Tissue Paper Backdrop

This is such a great DIY project - head over to Ruffled blog for the full step-by-step instructions for this tissue paper backdrop. I like simple, uncomplicated projects, especially ones that can be completed while watching TV using only tape, tissue paper, scissors and water bottle. The final look creates a big impact.
