Dreams, Wishes - Good Bye 2013

I made a dream jar filled with wishes for 2014. I bought wish tickets (picture below) years ago and finally found a creative way to use them. I am finishing up the year purging / organizing my studio and home in preparation for the new year. Out with the old and in with the new! I have been so blessed in 2013, with so many wonderful clients and opportunities. And, 2014 is shaping up nicely with more fabulous weddings / events and opportunities. Life is Good!

Engage!13 - Montelucia The Gala

Well, all good things have to come to and end. The Wednesday night gala at Montelucia didn't disappoint. Starting with the escort wall of lanterns (this was so creative) to the large centerpieces designed by Todd Fiscus Events. There were signature drinks, a photo booth and tons of sushi. Once the doors open and the band started - it was party central. I had so much fun dancing, eating and dancing! I left Engage!13 so inspired - its time to regroup. Looking forward to great business opportunities in 2014.

Karen Tran is a phenomenal woman, florist and designer. Not only was she down to earth but she was so much fun to hang out with at Engage!13 dine around dinner at Cameo. We talked about her Master floral classes that she has been teaching around the world. What I love about her? Everything!

Engage!13 - Montelucia Gifting and Styling Suites

Wow, what can I say about all of that swag! So much, there was even a shipping suite because there was no way I could have gotten all of that stuff home. The Styling Suite was offered to those who wanted accessories to wear to the Wednesday night gala. The Styling Suite offered a variety of high-end jewelry and clutches.

The Gifting Suite  - swag overload! I felt like a celebrity! There was so many upscale items that I loved including my robe from Plum Pretty Sugar and Vera Wang perfume. The paper products from Minted made my heart fluttered. Can't wait to order more off of their website.

Engage 13 - Montelucia Phoenix Recap

The line up for Day One Speakers included Darcy Miller, Liene Stevens, Carla Ten Eyck, Michelle Rago, Eddie Zaratsian, Randy Fenoli, Matthew Robbins, Simon T. Bailey and more. I'm still going through all of my notes but these speakers are the cream of crop who shared so many tips.

Tip: Don't be afraid to quote you price - bottom line, charge what you are worth! AMEN to that one.

Mindy Weiss had me cracking up laughing! She showed the funniest video (camping trip with her son in a park across the street from her house). Her presentation was so warm and enlightening and shows how much she loves her family (family first) and work (second).

Tip: Surround with yourself with people that are smarter than you.

This year's event also included breakout sessions with Sylvia Weinstock, Sean Low, Bryan Rafanelli Mark Niemierko and more. It was so much fun to be up, close and personal and to speak one on one with each and every one of them.

Tip: Find balance between work and home.
