The Valentino Resort 2013 line is so dainty, feminine and colorful. Three things that I love!  These pastel dresses would look lovely on your bridal party or any special occasion. What do I love most - they aren't strapless - yay! The sheer bodice in the first picture is genius.

Engaged Dr. Punam and Lalit

So great to see clients Punam and Lalit's beautiful engagement pictures. Photographer Nadia D captured the inner essence of their love. The photos were taken in Manhattan and the couple will say their I DOs in a lavish ceremony in Savannah. Stay tuned for more details.

I'm in LOVE! Haute Couture and Wedding gown designer Inbal Dror has been trending for months. Her studio is located in Israel and the gowns are made of lavish tulle lace and fish tail hems. These gowns look good coming or going - check out the images below and you will see what I mean - oh la la!

 

Vow Renewal Tia Mowry Hardrict and Cory Hardrict

Yes, it is vow renewal season. I wanted to share these beautiful images by the talented photographer Elizabeth Messina of Cory and Tia Mowry Hardrict's 5 year vow renewal on a Malibu beach. I love her dress/jeweled headband that is simple and understated. There were only 20 special guests, along with their young son who were on hand for the intimate beach ceremony.

Can't wait to share my 15 year vow renewal soon.

Vow Renewal Matt Damon & Luciana Barrosso

Well, well, well - I have to start off this blog post with the bride's renewal dress because it was a stunner. This runway gown by designer Naeem Khan is dreamy! It is from his Fall 2013 collection and features a cream v-neck and metallic beaded waist. The couple renewed their vows in St. Lucia with a three day celebration that spared no expense and included A-list celebrities for their 8th year of marriage. I really wish more people would renew their vows! It isn't about starting over, but more about taking the time to reconnect, recommit and rejoice in the years you have married.

The Vows Damon and Barroso wrote their own vows.
Damon said, “(I promise) to keep my sense of humour through everything and anything life throws at us… To defend you in public and correct you in private, to hold the hand-held shower when you’re rinsing the dye out of your hair even though you say I don’t do it right. To always respect your views even when we disagree – like about the fact that there’s a right way and a wrong way to hold a hand-held shower… To make a fool out of myself in front of you – but not too often… To be the dad our four beautiful children deserve, to be your best friend.”

Barroso also delivered a heart-felt speech, adding, “(I vow) to not yell at you when you hold the hand-held shower wrong – and yes, you do it wrong, to take the side of the bed closest to the bathroom no matter where on earth we are, to protect you from yourself when you sleepwalk but also to videotape you if I can find my phone in the dark… To be the mum our four beautiful girls deserve… and no matter what unpredictable direction life takes us in, to be right next to you loving you with everything I have.”

Yes, my 2013 theme song is Jennifer Hudson's song -  I Got This, "I got this, every single breath another step on my road". Yes, back on the road to success...I Got This! Everyday is a blessing. So many opportunities have emerged this year for which I am truly grateful. My heart sang when I opened the May issue of Ebony magazine and saw my name - WOW!

Designer Paula Del Vas Bridal

A few of my brides recently sent me pictures of their dresses and all I can say is OMG. I can't wait to share the pictures once they walk down the aisle. The selection, styles of wedding gowns has grown over the years and the brides have so many options besides strapless. There are also so many talented designers and one designer that I absolutely admire is Paula del Vas. These dresses make my heart sing, especially that ruffled tulle!

Tattoo Bride

Not exactly sure where I found these images and if this is an actually wedding or styled shoot, but the images are stunning. The tattoo bride and tons of tulle adds drama to this stylish shoot.  And, check out the Lucite stilettos, sizzling. It is always great when bride's true personalities show even in an urban setting.
