River Landing North Carolina - Wedding & Event Venue

River Landing was a beautiful event venue in North Carolina and I hope to return soon and planned a fabulous wedding or event. There were so many beautiful areas at River Landing to host a wedding or event along with plenty of on property sleeping rooms (cottages, suites) and a nearby hotel.

I was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Association of Bridal Consultants North Carolina state meeting. The weekend that I spent in North Carolina was a whirlwind filled with fellowship, new friendships and more. My topic was "The Competitive Edge" and I shared everything I knew about standing out in a crowd.

ABC Master Wedding Planner

Well, the year has past by in a blink of an eye. I spent most of the last quarter planning weddings and events but also working on my portfolio and conference presentation. The Association of Bridal Conference was held at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. I presented to a panel and I PASSED - now I can officially say that I'm a Master Wedding Planner. This is the highest level of accreditation and I feel blessed, honored and relieved to finally marking this off my 2014 goals.

I've never been to a Sandals resort but all I can say is "I had the time of my life". WOW, they rolled out the red carpet for the Association of Bridal Consultants annual conference. Ceci of New York spoke about branding and how she built a successful brand. Her speech was right on time as I'm busy working on re-branding my company in 2015. 

Dreams, Wishes - Good Bye 2013

I made a dream jar filled with wishes for 2014. I bought wish tickets (picture below) years ago and finally found a creative way to use them. I am finishing up the year purging / organizing my studio and home in preparation for the new year. Out with the old and in with the new! I have been so blessed in 2013, with so many wonderful clients and opportunities. And, 2014 is shaping up nicely with more fabulous weddings / events and opportunities. Life is Good!
