Anne Barge Bridal Fashion Show

What a night! Anne Barge Bridal rolled out the red carpet with celebrity industries friends cake diva, Sylvia Wienstock and editorial director at Martha Stewart Weddings, Darcy Miller at Atlanta's newest venue Flourish by Legendary Events. There were tasty appetizers, beautiful models (male and female) and fabulous runway fashion. Trends for 2016 - simple lines, ruffles, lace and high-low hemlines. And, then there were those red Cartier swag bags.

Bridal Week - Spotlight Naeem Khan 2016

Swoon, one of my favorite designers from Bridal week has to be Naeem Khan - hands down. These gowns are sexy, sparkly with a bit of sass. Naeem Khan is known for his embroidery couture and over the top styling with a Spanish influence. Yes, I want to get married again - just so I can wear one of these beauty down the aisle.

Nicky Hilton in Valentino Wedding Gown

There isn't anything about that Valentino dress that I don't love. Nicky Hilton was picture perfect on her wedding day. I have to say, she surprised me with the sleeves and high top collar. Not only was it regal, elegant and timeless - her look was effortless. And, who doesn't love Valentino - swoon!

Frida Kahlo Inspired Wedding

I have always been inspired and admired the artistry that is Frida Khalo. Her biography reads like a soap opera. This complex beauty has made an impact on the wedding industry in a big way. I've attached some images that I found on the web. Frida was known for her colorful clothing and signature headpieces. A small, but powerful woman - today's tribute is all about Frida.

I saw these cute little slippers on Pinterest and it was love at first sight. They are so adorable! Well, head over to the J Crew website to place your order. I would wear these everywhere - lol!

Wow is all that I can save about Truvelle - these gowns are girly, sparkly and simply gorgeous. If you are looking for something just a little bit different, this designer is the one for you. I could just see one of my brides rocking this look.

Angelina Jolie's Wedding Dress

Check out this stunning wedding pixs of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitts' wedding. Really loving the family picture and how all the children were incorporated into the wedding. The dress was simple, understated but elegant designed by Luigi Massi of Versace. The veil was adorned with drawings from her six children. This celebrity couple finally made it down the aisle - congrats!

Married - RFK Jr. marries actress Cheryl Hines

The bride wore a white Romona Keveza (Spring 2014) 1950 inspired tea length, strapless dress with a white satin bow dotted with hundreds of white pearl accents. I do like the dress but it probably wouldn't have been my pick, probably someone more fitted since she has a great figure. But, she does look gorgeous. Congrats to the couple!

What type of bride are you?

What type of bride are you? This is a question that every bride has to answer. For some bride this is very easy and for others it takes time to define your personal style. Are you a girly, girl who loves everything sparkly, shiny and glamorous. Or, are you a more laid back country girl who loves vintage items and thrift shopping. Take stock of the items in your closet - do you gravitate to pastel colors? Being able to determine your style will make the planning process much easy.

Cover Girls

Check out the cover girls on some of my favorite magazines. I don't think that would have been the dress that I would have picked out for Ciara, but she looks great needless to say on Brides' cover. Angelina Jolie's black/white Elle magazine cover shows simplicity and sophistication - there is some about a black/white picture that is timeless. Round out saving the best for last - First Lady Michelle rocks the cover of Essence magazine - pretty in a powder blue dress.

J Crew Bridesmaids Dress

Actress Jennifer Lawrence looks spectacular in her J Crew dress at her brother's wedding.  She would look great in anything but the color really compliments her great looks. Not a fan of boutonniere on the groom's vest but the bridesmaids dresses are winners. Check out the latest issue for Martha Stewart Real Weddings Special Issue for more details.

Courtney Bingham's Wedding Gown

This dress is a STUNNER! And, yes I would wear this custom ivory gown down the aisle or even around the house! Courtney bought this custom gown from her aunt's bridal salon - check out that corset top and layered, ruffled trumpet bottom - swoon.  This dress is timeless, classy and  probably one of the prettiest wedding gowns that I've seen in awhile. Motley Crue Rocker Nikki Sixx married model Courtney Bingham at Greystone Mansion in Los Angeles. Congrats to the couple!

Wish List - Valentino Stud Slingbacks

I remember the days when I wore high heels everyday, but as I have grown older (mature) my heels have become shorter and shorter. The number one reason, I despise uncomfortable shoes no matter how cute or how expensive. However, I'm on a quest to find a few pairs of cute, comfortable designer shoes and for some reason I keep gravitating to these Valentino slingback. They come in a lot of colors and I can definitely see ME or a bride rock these cuties down the aisle.

This gown is a STUNNER! This bride definitely knew what she wanted for her wedding day - everything about her attire is unique and personal from the headpiece to the jewel bouquet for her Cabo destination wedding. Because you are having a destination wedding doesn't mean that you have to wear a pillow case and flip flops. A stylish bride has confidence, vision and is always true to herself.
